It seems that the overall sentiment is that Kinja is a big heaping ball of shit. Assuming that's the case, why does Gawker INSIST on using it? I can't see any comments today. This is bullshit.

Try reloading the page. That seems to work for me. Interestingly, comments load just fine on mobile Safari.

(Ironic that you comment on a post explaining the fix to a problem that makes comments invisible) I've been doing the reload thing, with about 80% success on a per-article basis. I usually have to reload 2 to 5 times.

Constant crashes, images don't appear, images appear then disappear, comments don't appear even after clearing cache on my end (shows it's the server lagging behind). Magical appearing and disappearing notifications. The inability to view my notification page because I'm unauthorized.

If I or my company released this to a customer, I'd be dragged out in front of them and shot as an attempt at penance.

I'm having zero issues today. I was having a few yesterday, but nothing that isn't characteristic of any system like it. I'd say Facebook screws up just as often.

This would be like owning a sandwich press that burns it, doesn't burn it, cooks it part way though, burns you, burns the house down, freezes the sandwich, makes the sandwich disappear, makes a sandwich of different bread and fillings appear.

Firefox 26.0 is working goodie-goodie. Mobile I dunno, and I don't want to know because for me the web is relaxing at my desk, on my posh chair with armrests and hydraulic suspension, and with a double shot of JD in my left hand (two ice cubes, no more... thank you!). YOLO, than it's better to live it comfortably.

Tried that. Also tried cache clears and the 3 different browsers on this PC. It looks to be an issue on their side as it resolves randomly.
